Created by the visionary, Damian Lazarus, and his music label, Crosstown Rebels, Day Zero is a 17 hour off-grid immersion hidden deep within the cavernous jungles of Tulum. Tini was invited to spearhead art department by crafting a unique environment for the experience. To complement the culture and spirit of Tulum’s surreal wilderness, Tini constructed a site-specific pyramid stage, hanging wooden lantern sculptures, multichromatic yarn installations and cascading crystal designs, that were intuitively strung throughout an amphitheater of trees, cenotes and caves. Working with local mayans, every piece of the ethereal structure was regionally sourced and handcrafted at the goa-esque destination. Tini helped bridge land and community with a visual experience that became home to a plethora of artists, performers and tribes.
