The power of social context was prevalent at this year’s ocean summit. An ethos of solution driven content resonated off of the ocean liner’s international excursion for 2,500 entrepreneurs in tech, media and entertainment. Tini was invited to sync event programming with a phenomenological sculpture and jewelry workshop.
Positioned on the ship’s upper deck was the Haven Lounge. A common place for passengers to reset by enjoying workshops spanning acro-yoga, meditation, belly dancing and lucid dream. As a central structure for the experience, Tini handcrafted the sculpture in virtue of the meditative lounge and surrounding narrative for participants to perceive through the senses and direct intentionality.
We are all aware of being a part of a larger vision, yet the conditions of sight are limited to what is around us. Investigating our place in the universe by mapping earthly, oceanic and celestial terrain, the hanging 3 ½ ft x 6 ½ ft piece comprises leather, shells, brass feathers and quartz. Incredibly old and wise, the quartz crystal opens the mind and heart to a higher guidance by broadcasting energy that is programmed into it throughout the world and into etheric realms, accelerating the manifestation of healing, growth and goals.
The Message in a Bottle workshop provided a nostalgic take away for SAS guests. Incorporating a creative writing exercise that was reminiscent of being at sea, Tini provided 400 participants with miniature nautical bottles to loop into their handcrafted leather and stone bead necklaces as a memento.
