SUMMIT SERIES SPACES

Since the beginning of man formulating space, architecture and design has always been considered a carrier of messages. There is a highly conscious design narrative happening at Summit’s Powder Mountain, from the people who visit and the places they experience, to the objects they are surrounded by. Tini honors an omniculture of great design by studying the elemental intricacies of the treasures that energize her works, after all, we humans are made up of elements not so unlike those of rock and star. She touches upon themes of oneness whether she is meticulously designing a mise en scène or sharing culturally significant stories through a necklace. Elevating classic craftsmanship with an alchemical shift, she hopes to expand material and functionality by communicating time, place and earth’s essence in every creation.

The holistic utility of design has evolved far beyond a fictive reality on Powder Mountain. Tini collaborated with artist, Griffin Loop in creating a series of handmade hanging sculptures for the Valley Lodge and Timberline. These thought provoking and explorative environments are multi-purpose gathering spaces that host anything from group yoga workshops to conferences that push one’s boundaries to create their own change.

In the Valley lodge are three geometric pieces that are 2ft in size. Grounding the metal shape’s modern pluralism are leather wrapped crystals and rare stones affixed at various heights to be seen from any orientation.

Tini and Griffin created a larger, singular piece for the Timberline. Comprised of metal, crystals and vibrantly treated leather, it hangs in the mountain dwelling as a symbol of transformation and connection.
